From what I recall reading in Anne Heller’s biography, Rand official never again designated anyone her “intellectual heir” in any legal documents after her break with Nathaniel Brandon.
Peikoff just gave himself that title shortly after her death since he inherited her work.

So, Christie wants to shut down the historic Meadowlands racetrack to free up money for this consumerist Xanadu bullshit? God, what an asshole!

I think the plan was to sell it off for $1 and then still collect money from it (besides normal taxes).
